About The Position

Sky Café is seeking dependable, safety-focused Dish Room Agents to support daily flight kitchen operations. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing dishes and equipment to ensure all catering operations meet safety, sanitation, and operational standards. Position Overview Dish Room Agents are responsible for maintaining all dish room equipment, including cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and catering equipment, as well as sorting items according to operational specifications and daily production needs. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while maintaining strict sanitation and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to carry, lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move for 8+ hour shifts
  • Ability to work in environments with extreme and varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and refrigerated areas
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced setting
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug testing, and a criminal background check, including all TSA and Customs requirements
  • Ability to safely perform work using required PPE, including but not limited to protective gloves, freezer/cooler gloves, hot mitts, cut-resistant gloves, aprons, goggles, hearing protection, safety footwear, and any additional required PPE
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment to ensure all equipment and products meet required readiness times
  • Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with company standards
  • Flexibility to work overnights, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs
  • Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Sky Café rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the Flight Kitchen.

  • Sort and organize dishes and equipment based on operational requirements
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume, time-oriented environment
  • Adapt to changing priorities and operational needs throughout the shift
  • Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and work rules
  • Ensure all equipment is properly handled, stored, and available for production needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
