About The Position

The Airline Business Development Data Analyst I position is a developmental role focused on supporting the Airline Business Development (ABD) team at Washington Dulles International Airport. The analyst will assist in building and maintaining air service databases, generating data reports, and preparing airline service presentations. This role is designed to lead to higher levels within the ABD career ladder based on performance and skill development.

Requirements

• Three years of progressively responsible experience in business development and financial/market analyses.
• Familiarity with data sources, forecasting, and analytical methods for market analyses.
• Ability to write clear and concise reports and presentations.
• Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and business economics.
• Skill in using computer and office suite software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the commercial airline industry and growth strategies.
• Experience developing airline business (international or domestic).

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining, and generating internal air service databases and reports.
• Prepare, maintain, and update accurate statistical analysis for TPS reports.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators of the Airport relative to its peers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the global air service development industry and geopolitical challenges.
• Support the development and maintenance of internal databases for passenger bookings and market performance.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for executives and stakeholders.
• Represent the Airports Authority at local industry events and functions.
