The Airframe Design Engineering organization is seeking a highly motivated individual with an engineering degree and related experience to fill the role of Airframe Design Engineer in the area of metallic and composite structure design. The selected candidate will be involved in developing basic data, preliminary design layouts and detail design for new and revised parts, assemblies and systems that make up helicopter fuselage primary and secondary structures. This involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Selected candidate will participate in development and presentation of design proposals, detail design and support through the product lifecycle. Layouts and drawings will be prepared using CATIA V5 and/or 3Dx/V6. Composite design will utilize the CATIA CPD tool. Occasional travel may be required to support suppliers, customer meetings and reviews, as well as aircraft build support and test.
