Bombardier is proud to launch a new intensive training program that prepares aircraft mechanics to obtain their A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) license in just 6 weeks. This innovative program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to work as a licensed mechanic at Bombardier. Comprehensive Training: Learn everything you need to know about airframe and powerplant maintenance through this 6-week preparation course. Aviation Experts: Our experienced instructor from Wichita State University (WSU) TECH will guide you every step of the way, sharing their in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills. Exam Preparation: We prepare you for the FAA exams with regular assessments and intensive review sessions.

Requirements

  • You possess an authenticated document from an FAA-certificated Aviation Maintenance Technician School (AMTS) with a minimum of 3 years of experience                                                               OR
  • You are a military applicant possessing a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the Joint Service Aviation Maintenance Technician Certification Council (JSAMTCC)                                   OR
  • You have an approved 8610-2 form
  • You have the ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal
  • You own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems, ensuring every customer flight is safe and smooth.
  • Utilize advanced tools and technology to perform precise repairs and maintenance.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, contributing to our high standards of safety and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards, playing a key role in our commitment to excellence.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure the reliability of customer aircraft
