Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Wichita Falls as an Airflow Operator. In this role, you will operate and perform minor maintenance on airflow equipment to meet P&W’s quality standards while maintaining all EH&S regulations. This position will support the site to repair the hot sections of our engines. The person in this role will train on our 1st shift for up to 6 months. Upon completion of training, you will work on our 2nd shift, which is Monday-Thursday from 3pm-1am. Pratt & Whitney in Wichita Falls, TX is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Previous OEM/Aviation experience
  • Ability to read and use basic measuring instruments
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate and operate airflow equipment
  • Adjusting of airfoils to meet requirements
  • Perform TPM and minor maintenance on airflow equipment
  • Material handling
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
  • Read & follow work instructions and supporting documentation
  • Participate in all appropriate CORE (formally known as ACE) activities
