About The Position

The Aircraft Worker - Small Parts Paint position is a full-time role on the weekend shift, responsible for assisting the Supervisor in the production of high-quality aircraft and industrial parts and subassemblies. The role involves following Piper Drawings, Process Specifications (PPS), and other manufacturing instructions to meet or exceed planned production and delivery schedules while maximizing company resources. The duties are diverse and include routine setup and machine operations, sheet metal assemblies, and various assembly tasks. The position requires the use of hand tools and assembly equipment, as well as adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent or successful completion of a verifiable occupational training program
• Ability to work scheduled shift and hours, including overtime
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to follow all safety procedures
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to adhere to Piper Drawings and Process Specifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in production of aircraft and industrial parts
• Perform routine setup and machine operations
• Drill out, dimple, countersink, rivet, and torque aircraft parts
• Assemble aircraft subassembly parts using common fasteners
• Properly use a variety of assembly-related hand tools
• Install fasteners and hardware according to blueprints and specifications
• Access and utilize Shop Floor Information and work orders
• Complete required PACT LMS training modules
• Maintain compliance with Piper QAM/QIM and FAA requirements
• Inspect and conduct approved rework of discrepancies
• Perform housekeeping chores as required
• Work independently or with direction from Supervisor
• Partner with senior teammates for training and knowledge sharing
• Adhere to departmental compliance requirements
