About The Position
The Aircraft Tow Agent is responsible for towing different types of aircraft safely and securely. This role involves frequent bending, stretching, push/pulling, stacking, and kneeling in small, confined locations. The agent will perform inspections of the tow tractor and tow bar prior to each use, operate motorized equipment, and ensure safe push back while communicating with the flight crew. The agent must read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags. Additionally, the agent will communicate with Apron Control/Ground Control and perform other duties as assigned, ensuring tasks are performed in accordance with company and airline-specific procedures and policies. The agent is required to attend mandatory training imposed by the company and airlines as per the job role and must consistently deliver the highest level of customer service.
