About The Position

Airbus Helicopters is looking for new A&P mechanics to join our Maintenance & Repair (MAR) team based in Grand Prairie, TX. Duties include training to aid in and support of detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. Support operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning. Support in diagnoses of malfunctions or failures and make adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts or components as directed. Your challenges: Learn to perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components. Aid in operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems. Support in the performance of troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls. Participate in flight tests on aircraft and log work to be performed, as required. Requirements

  • Minimum (2) years of aviation maintenance experience. Experience may be substituted for education normally acquired in the attainment of an A&P certificate.
  • Current FAA A&P license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • US Person under ITAR definition required (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

Nice To Haves

  • Helicopter maintenance experience preferred but NOT required.
