Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Technician A – Mechanical Installer to join our Flightline team based in Columbus, MS . You will be part of the team to perform mechanical removals and installations on assigned aircraft or parts and subassemblies. As well as assist other technicians when needed. Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years related experience in mechanical installations in industrial or automotive.
  • Knowledge of mechanical blueprints and drawings.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be a US Person as defined under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training in the aviation or mechanical field such as automotive is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
  • Conduct functional checks of systems for proper functioning.
  • Perform work from three-dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation.
  • Perform normal troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
