About The Position

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Dynamic Component Repair (DCR) Tech to join our Dynamic Component Repair team based in Grand Prairie, TX. Duties include performing assigned work in support of the Dynamic Component Shop. Your challenges: Overhaul: 50% Disassembly of Components Cleaning of aircraft parts. Reworks parts for the Overhaul process Inspects parts for continued airworthiness Assembles parts for repair or overhaul Inventory tool box daily Reporting missing items Verifying calibrations are current Area clean of foreign object Uses Maintenance Manuals: 20% Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) to determine rework limitations Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) proper cleaning methods Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) to determine how to dis-assemble components FOD/Tool Control: 30% Inventory tool box daily Reporting missing items Verifying calibrations are current Area clean of foreign object Uses Maintenance Manuals: 20% Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) to determine rework limitations Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) proper cleaning methods Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) to determine how to dis-assemble components

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum four (4) years of mechanical skill experience.
  • Authorized to Work in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Some trade school or technical training
  • FAA Airframe Certificate or equivalent
