About The Position

Segula Technologies is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft. You will be responsible for fabricating and modifying structural modifications on aircraft parts, performing minor structural repairs on composite components, and assisting in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures. Your expertise will also be utilized in complex structural repairs, aircraft component repair, and the removal and installation of aircraft components as required. Compliance with environmental health and safety policies and procedures is essential, as is participation in 5-S activities. You will perform work in a safe and timely manner, document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations, and operate ground support equipment as needed. Additionally, you will assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations, maintenance at off-site locations, towing aircraft, and other maintenance disciplines as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft structures corporate experience
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status
  • Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
  • Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable
  • Possession of an airframe license by the FAA
  • Basic PC skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures
  • Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft
  • Assist with aircraft component repair
  • Remove / install aircraft components as required
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures
  • Participate in 5-S activities
  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
  • Operate ground support equipment as required
  • Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as needed
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
  • Assist with towing aircraft as needed
  • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed
