About The Position

Segula Technologies is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft. You will also fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts, perform minor structural repairs on composite components, and assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures. Your expertise will be crucial in assisting with complex structural repairs, aircraft component repairs, and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety policies. You will participate in 5-S activities and perform work in a safe and timely manner, documenting all work performed according to appropriate manuals and regulations. Additionally, you will operate ground support equipment and assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft structures corporate experience
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal form regarding individual and/or aircraft status
  • Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
  • Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime including non-scheduled work days and holidays
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable
  • Possession of an airframe license by the FAA
  • Basic PC skills

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft

  • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures
  • Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft
  • Assist with aircraft component repair
  • Remove / install aircraft components as required
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures
  • Participate in 5-S activities
  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
  • Operate ground support equipment as required
  • Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as needed
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
  • Assist with towing aircraft as needed
  • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed
