About The Position

The position involves troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft. The role requires fabricating and modifying structural modifications on aircraft parts, performing minor structural repairs on composite components, and assisting in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures. Additionally, the candidate will assist with complex structural repairs, aircraft component repairs, and the removal and installation of aircraft components as required. Compliance with environmental health and safety policies and procedures is essential, as well as participation in 5-S activities. The work must be performed in a safe and timely manner, with documentation of work performed according to appropriate manuals and regulations. The role also includes operating ground support equipment and assisting with mechanical and electrical removals and installations, maintenance at off-site locations, towing aircraft, and other maintenance disciplines as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of corporate experience (Bombardier and Gulfstream preferred)
  • Training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or equivalent schooling
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal form regarding individual and/or aircraft status
  • Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
  • Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
  • Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable
  • Basic PC skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
  • Operate ground support equipment as required
  • Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as needed
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
  • Assist with towing aircraft as needed
  • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed

Benefits

  • Per Diem: $870 USD per week for employees residing more than 150 miles from the Service Center
