You will be the Aircraft Structural Mechanic for the SOF GLSS team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑impact structural maintenance and repair services that sustain critical rotary‑wing platforms for Special Operations Forces. What You Will Be Doing As the Aircraft Structural Mechanic you will be responsible for modifying, repairing, and maintaining the structural configurations of H‑6, H‑60, and H‑47 rotary‑wing aircraft supporting the SOF GLSS contract located in Lexington, KY. Your responsibilities will include: Performing structural modifications using riveting, fastening, trimming, sanding, bonding, and composite repair techniques. Conducting damage assessments, corrosion removal, treatment, and preventative maintenance to extend airframe life. Fabricating, installing, and replacing sheet‑metal and composite panels, fairings, and structural parts per engineering drawings. Executing detailed structural inspections during phase, isochronal, and periodic maintenance programs. Interpreting engineering drawings, repair manuals, and service bulletins while accurately documenting work in maintenance logs.
