About The Position

This is a contract position for 12 months with the potential for extension. The role requires the ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on business needs. The primary responsibilities include reading, interpreting, and following technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications in English, applying sealant to surfaces per specifications, and installing various aircraft system components such as panel installations. The position also involves operating mechanical lifts, including ladders, tiger lifts, and snorkel lifts, and using chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes. Additional tasks include performing in-tank sealing and structural work within fuel tanks, conducting bond and ground measurements, and performing wash and rework of fuel tanks as required. The role requires working in confined spaces, for which training and certification are required, and adherence to high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Aerospace Experience
  • 7 years or more experience with application of chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes
  • 7 years or more experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications
  • 7 years or more experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English
  • 7 years or more experience in an advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power, and/or pneumatic (air) tools
  • Must be able to pass background screening requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws

Responsibilities
