About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Aircraft Production Technician to join the Chief Mechanic Non-Conformance Resolution Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• 3+ years of experience in 787 Airplane Program.
• 3+ years of experience working the aircraft and maintaining FOD free area.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience working with operations personnel, industrial engineers.
• 3+ years of experience in managing NOE projects both in factory and on flight-line.
• 3+ years of experience in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements manufacturing processes.
• Provides concurrent engineering support.
• Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.
• Reviews and approves technical documents.
• Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.
• Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
• Leads project and participates in technical research on proposed projects.
• Serves as primary interface with internal customers.
• Translates data into actionable plans for implementation within the organization.
• Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action.
