Requirements Position Summary: The Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and servicing aircraft to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems, engines, airframes, and associated components. The A&P Mechanic must adhere to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies to perform maintenance activities on a variety of aircraft types. Primary duties include diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems, replacing defective parts, performing scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance, and ensuring all maintenance records are accurate and up to date. The A&P Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining the highest safety standards and ensuring aircraft are airworthy and ready for operation.
