About The Position
The position is for an Aircraft Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic at Eielson AFB, AK. The role involves performing maintenance and operational checks on assigned pneudraulic systems, troubleshooting, removing, inspecting, installing, repairing, modifying, rebuilding, and testing pneudraulic systems and components for aircraft and associated ground support equipment. The mechanic will also conduct periodic and special inspections on hydraulic components, operate portable test stands, and investigate pneudraulic failures to determine causes and accomplish corrective maintenance. The job requires participation in readiness evaluations and may involve additional duties such as structural fire fighting and aircraft fire/crash/rescue duty.
