About The Position

The Aircraft Planner is responsible for supporting the efficient utilization and scheduling of the company’s fleet. This role focuses on developing and maintaining aircraft routing, scheduling, and maintenance planning to ensure operational reliability and cost efficiency. The analyst will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure aircraft availability aligns with operational needs. This position requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to support data-driven decision-making and optimize fleet performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in aircraft planning, scheduling, or a related aviation role
  • Basic understanding of aviation regulations and operational requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and ability to collaborate across departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Basic knowledge of aviation regulations and fleet planning principles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fleet management or scheduling systems (e.g., TRAX or similar)
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, reporting systems, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a Part 121 or Part 135 environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of aircraft schedules, routing, and rotations
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure aircraft availability and compliance with maintenance requirements
  • Monitor daily aircraft utilization and identify potential disruptions or conflicts
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements in aircraft utilization
  • Assist in adjusting schedules based on operational changes, maintenance needs, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable aviation regulations
  • Prepare reports on aircraft utilization, delays, and performance metrics
