About The Position

The Aircraft Pilot - Fixed Wing Option is a permanent, full-time position used by various agencies throughout the state. Positions are statewide, in various locations throughout Alabama. This is technical work of a responsible nature in piloting single-engine aircraft used in connection with executive passenger transport, patrol programs, or other missions of the State.

Requirements

• Valid pilot's license
• Experience with single-engine aircraft
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Piloting single-engine aircraft
• Conducting executive passenger transport
• Participating in patrol programs
• Carrying out other missions of the State
