The position involves assisting the Paint Department with the preparation of parts for painting. This includes tasks such as sanding, masking, and general preparation of all program products requiring paint. Additionally, the candidate will set up and operate methods to paint detail parts using a spray gun, read and interpret blueprints, and follow engineering planning while accurately completing work orders. Compliance with regulatory requirements related to paint use on the shop floor is essential, as is the completion of self-verification procedures on work orders and other required documents. The candidate will also support the company's Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention Program and provide backup support for assembly work to meet production targets. Successful completion of required training to maintain job efficiency is expected, along with adherence to good housekeeping, quality, FOD, and safety procedures. The role may also involve supporting other Aurora Flight Sciences sites and performing additional tasks as required by site leadership.
