About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a Two (2) years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a paint technician, including painting, maintenance, and finish work.
• Fully proficient job knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation, treatment, and painting of aircraft components and small surface areas.
• Demonstrate ability to paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices.
• Mask and cover portions of surfaces not to be painted.
• Coat surfaces with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, or lacquer using spray guns.
• Select and mix coating materials; coat areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
