Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH) is seeking an Aircraft Operations Trainee for an entry-level position in Tulsa, OK. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the aviation manufacturing sector. The trainee will be immersed in the manufacturing processes of aircraft, working under direct supervision in a team environment. The primary focus will be on performing various structural assembly operations within a production department, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. In this position, the trainee will receive specific instructions and guidance to perform fitting of detail parts, as well as basic drilling and riveting operations. The use of basic mechanic hand tools such as pneumatic drills, rivet guns, countersinks, reamers, and files will be essential. The trainee will also be responsible for ensuring that all parts and work content meet the instructions provided by the assigned manufacturing employee or Quality Control Inspector. As part of the training, the individual will learn to read work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets to determine the sequence of operations and work requirements. As the trainee becomes more familiar with the parts and assemblies, they will gradually work with decreasing supervision, gaining valuable experience in the field. The role may also involve other duties as assigned, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of aircraft operations and manufacturing processes.
