About The Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated Electrical / Environmental Technician to join our dynamic team. This position will require frequent domestic and international travel. Must be able to obtain and maintain passport for international travel. NOTE: This position is located at Antafagosta, Chile. Additional job requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to: F-16 Electrical Systems technician in support of in support of maintenance modification, upgrade and overhaul maintenance efforts. The successful candidate will be skilled in aircraft electrical systems and aircraft wiring maintenance. The candidate will be able to complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems, adhere to all technical orders, fault isolation manuals, ground operating procedures and local operational instructions. Perform troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all landing gear, flight controls, engine starting, hydraulic systems and components on the aircraft as required. Responsible for all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft. Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment. Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields. - Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have a DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. Requirements

  • Candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must possess minimum of 5 years of recent F-16 maintenance and/or modification experience
  • Extensive experience in aircraft component troubleshooting and/or repair procedures and replacement of components, and aircraft systems.
  • Extensive experience with reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields.
  • Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must have a DOD secret clearance.
  • Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain passport for international travel.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in their career field.
  • Experience working and communicating with Foreign military personnel.
  • Candidate possesses previous instructor/ training experience.
  • Experience working in Foreign locations with little oversight.
