About The Position

You will be the Aircraft Mechanic for the F‑35 Maintenance Team which is responsible for delivering nose‑to‑tail support to our Dutch customer. This position is located in Volkel Netherlands. What You Will Be Doing: As the Aircraft Mechanic you will be responsible for providing expert avionics and airframe maintenance that returns F‑35 aircraft to an airworthy state and maximizes fleet availability. Further Information About This Opportunity: MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Physical Requirements: This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Requirements

  • Must have 2-years of hands-on F-35 maintenance experience to include working experience and knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) to include, Anomaly Fault Resolution System, Customer Relationship Management, Joint Technical Data Navigation, Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA)/Maintenance Vehicle Interface (MVI) activities, Configuration Management and forms documentation and/or supply chain management activities.
  • Must have avionics background/systems maintenance experience.
  • Requires minimum of 4 years hands-on working experience in 5 or 7-skill level USAF AFSC, CDI/CDQAR Navy NEC, or CDI/CDQAR United States Marine Corps, or equivalent on Fighter Attack Aircraft.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

  • An FAA aircraft and Power Plant Mechanic license is desirable.
  • Proficiency with LM’s F-35 Nose-to-Tail maintenance concept.
  • APG Maintenance Experience.
  • Weapons/Egress Systems Maintenance Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and certify avionics and structural components across the full aircraft envelope.
  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to meet operational readiness goals.
  • Collaborate with the Aeronautics Field Sustainment training team to deliver on‑site training and knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain accurate work orders and documentation within the Integrated Contractor Support (ICS) system.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and FOD‑free standards while operating in a multinational environment.
