About The Position

The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company aircraft with a primary focus on Bombardier Global Express models. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience maintaining Global Express aircraft and a strong understanding of business jet systems and operations. Helicopter experience is a plus, as the position may occasionally support rotary-wing maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with 2+ years specifically on Bombardier Global Express aircraft.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems including avionics, hydraulics, engines, and structures.
  • Must be able to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment under time constraints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Helicopter maintenance experience preferred (Bell, Airbus, or similar).
  • Experience with other Bombardier business jets (Challenger, Learjet).
  • Familiarity with CAMP or similar maintenance tracking programs.
  • Prior corporate aviation or Part 135/91 operational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Bombardier Global Express aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues and perform corrective actions.
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections including phase checks, troubleshooting discrepancies, and component replacement.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation complies with FAA and company requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the hangar and work areas.
  • Collaborate with flight crews, maintenance control, and management to ensure aircraft readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Support helicopter maintenance operations as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
