About The Position

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) system engineering and information technology firm, headquartered in Maryland and Virginia. Incorporated in 1999, we support mission critical Information Technology (IT) business needs for clients within the intelligence community (IC), Department of Defense (DOD), Veteran Administration (VA) and for select commercial clients. ACET, Inc.’s technical, programmatic, and analytical professionals are experts in commercial technology, customized solutions, and proprietary government systems. ACET is seeking a H-1 Flight Equipment/Seat Shop Mechanic (CDQAR) at our Jacksonville, NC location.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years Aviation experience.
  • Must have and and maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • 2 years as a CDI/CDQAR and QASO
  • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • Must have had and be able to maintain all explosive handling/safety qualifications as outlined in applicable publications and standards.
  • Knowledgeable with Joint Satellite Tracking System (JSETS), CAD/PAD and AWIS.
  • Must demonstrate OOMA knowledge upon assignment.
  • Must be able to pick up a minimum of 50 lbs. individually from the ground, vehicle or aircraft.
  • Must be able to pass drug test and pass fit for work physical as required.
  • Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, to include working overhead.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Previously completed Parachute Rigger “A” School.
  • All candidates must be a U.S. Citizen to apply

Responsibilities

  • Will work near ordnance, must have previously qualified as Quality Assurance & Safety Observer (QA/SO).
  • Work, cooperate and communicate, as directed, with supervisors, team leaders and coworkers satisfactorily.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and 13 Series manuals.
  • Observe personal safety and line precautions around aircraft and workspaces.
  • Completes maintenance documentation accurately using OOMA, and required forms, as required by job assignment.
