The Aircraft Structural Mechanic III is responsible for assessing aircraft damage and drafting repair procedures to aircraft structural and composite components. Must be able to utilize advanced metalworking practices and depot level techniques to form, cut, bend, and fasten new/repair components to damaged structures. Must be highly proficient in close tolerance drilling/reaming for installation of high-strength fasteners. Expert in the use of powered/non-powered metalworking tooling and equipment.
