Tyonek Services Group will augment services provided by Air Force military personnel to modify, maintain, inspect, control corrosion, overhaul, repair, regenerate and store various weapon systems, related components, missiles, engines, ground support equipment and vehicles. DUTIES: Perform maintenance, repair, overhaul, and modification of aircraft structures and mechanical systems of moderate to high complexity, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, guns, hydrozene, batteries, hydrostats and associated mechanical components. Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to diagnose malfunctions, determine corrective actions, and restore equipment to proper operating condition while interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturer manuals. Possess thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical troubleshooting, sheet metal repair, structural modification, component replacement, and basic electrical theory. Be proficient in the use of aircraft-specific tools including test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, and shears. Maintain working knowledge of applicable technical publications and make accurate entries in aircraft logs and records when required. Support repair and overhaul of landing gear, fuel tanks, pylons, screw jacks, hydraulics, and pneudraulics across multiple aircraft platforms including, but not limited to, C-5, C-17, C-130, B-1B, B-2, B-52, KC-135, A-10, T-38, E-2, E-3, F-4, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35, MH-53, and MH-60. Receive technical guidance from government supervisors or senior technicians as necessary. Prioritize workload effectively to meet established schedules and project deadlines.
