Aircraft Mechanic I Performs diagnostic and repair work involving fixed and/or rotary-wing pressurized cabin, passenger aircraft with multi-engine reciprocating or turbine engines, and single-engine non-pressurized aircraft for special purpose and passenger use. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details. Aircraft Mechanic II Performs advanced diagnostic and repair work involving fixed and/or rotary-wing pressurized cabin, passenger aircraft with multi-engine reciprocating or turbine engines, and single-engine non-pressurized aircraft for special purpose and passenger use. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
