About The Position

Yulista Contract Services LLC Regular Yulista Holding LLC is providing full on-site / off-site maintenance flight/Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate (AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The support will be conducted in accordance with current Army directives, including but not limited to, AR 95-1 and AR 95-20. Areas for support to be provided include completion of all maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and management of internal contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records. Essential Duties • Performs primarily as a member of the aircraft tow team but may assist in the jacking of aircraft and disconnecting instruments, ignitions systems, and fuel and oil lines. • Assists the Aircraft Mechanics in dismantling, repairing, overhauling or replacing parts and assemblies such as engines, plumbing and hydraulic systems, and aircraft structural sections. • Perform routine duties such as furnishing materials, tools and supplies to mechanic, lifting and holding materials in place during operations, cleaning work area, machines, tools, and equipment, cleans aircraft interior and exterior parts and assemblies with solvents or other cleaning solutions. • May assist flight line mechanic, worker or servicer in servicing and repairing aircraft prior to flight. • Use ACN logbook system and other computer based technical manuals. • Maintain on time schedules for assigned projects. • May be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have a maintenance background
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Must currently have or be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite and can learn additional computer skills/software programs.
  • Ability to enter data accurately into databases
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff including interactions with other crew members.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
