Summary Performs inspections and maintenance on company owned single engine aircraft.

Requirements

FAA Certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic
2 years experience in General Aviation aircraft maintenance
Significant knowledge and experience with single-engine Cessna type aircraft maintenance
Basic computer skills such as working with Microsoft Office software
Able to work without direct supervision
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to work effectively in conjunction with the Lead Mechanic in managing maintenance on the patrol aircraft.
Subject to extended workdays and/or workweeks, and call-out for emergency response. Will be required to carry a cell phone.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, and able to adjust to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Assist with inspections and maintenance on company owned single engine aircraft.
Occasionally responsible for ordering parts, handling shipping, receiving, and inventory
Assist in conducting aircraft logbook & records research
Handle company paperwork including processing company credit card purchases for approval
Other duties as assigned.
