About The Position

The Aircraft Maintenance Tech is accountable for performing maintenance and logistical coordination of maintenance for fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft on a daily basis and in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations and the manufacturer recommendations. Job Essentials Performs daily aircraft maintenance for aircraft at their home base and satellite locations. Schedules, coordinates, and completes scheduled maintenance and inspections in a timely manner. May be required to complete RII inspections. Documents, maintains, and completes aircraft records in accordance with FAA and Intermountain requirements. Tracks aircraft inspection, component due times, and completion of tasks in computer database. Responsible to maintain company-owned special tools and equipment in good working order. Ensures calibration requirements are met. Assists as requested in the transport of equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to medical equipment and Life Flight drug bags with controlled substances. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends and new developments in the aviation field.

Requirements

  • Current Federal Aviation Airframe & Power Plant license.
  • Demonstrate aviation maintenance experience.
  • Working knowledge of both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft and respective turbine engines.

Nice To Haves

  • Multiple Aircraft Qualified with Factory Training on Fixed wing (B200 King Air) and Helicopter (Agusta A109).
  • Structural Sheet metal experience.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting Training / Experience.
  • 3-5 years aviation experience.
