Your Mission is Ours. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Support Engineer Intern. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, direct and/or perform engineering assignments, investigate and analyze project requirements and operating problems, and develop recommended solutions to meet company governmental safety and performance standards. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of technical writing and MS Office.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in one of the following technical disciplines: Systems Engineering, Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, Technical Writing or Technical Communications.
- Experience with MS Office applications
- Must be a US Citizen.
- This position will require a government security clearance.
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings XML Technical Data Authoring, Familiarity with Technical Manual/Publications.
- Technical writing skills.
- Interest and experience in aviation/Aircraft maintenance
- Good communication skills are required.
