About The Position

General Description Monitor work of employees completing daily repair and manufacturing operations for incoming workload for C-5, C-17, C-130, F-15, J-STARS, RQ-4 Global Hawk and other workload as required. Duties Perform all supervisory actions associated with contract to include timekeeping, investigations of quality defects, and preparing reports as assigned Receive daily assignments from customer and assign work to employees Attend all customer required meetings Plan current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, estimates, and recommendations as to scheduling projected work Communicate directions to the workforce Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Must be a liaison between Tyonek's workforce, the customer, and management Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within RAFB operation Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least five years direct applicable or equivalent experience in functional area of repair and manufacturing
  • Must have at least 2 years of supervision experience
  • Must have experience in all aspects of safety to include OSHA requirements, documentation, HAZMAT, training/licensing/certifications and scheduling
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to pass a background check, which could include a criminal history and credit check for access to Government facilities.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • This position falls under Executive Order 14042, and may require fully vaccinated status.
  • We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, APU, etc.
