About The Position

The Aircraft Operations will gain experience in the Management/Supervisory role for aircraft undergoing maintenance and modification. Intern(s) will assist the Operations Management Team with managing aircraft schedules, budgets, personnel, and quality objectives. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, managerial skills, and the ability to work cross functionally to achieve on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Aviation Maintenance, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
  • Excellent oral, written and computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with heavy emphasis on Excel.
  • Must be a self-starter and motivated.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to coordinate with other functional groups and support organizations.
  • Must be flexible to work off shifts and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of performance metrics in key areas such as Quality, Cost and Schedule.
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify trends to provide corrective action when applicable.
  • Support production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
  • Perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including total quality management, manufacturing systems, material management, and process re-engineering.
