About The Position

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a team or individually.

• Previous mechanical experience working in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed A&P Mechanics in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on aircraft.
• Complete required maintenance-related paperwork accurately.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel regarding work progress and challenges.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and specifications to determine repair methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Complete on-the-job training forms and required reading.
• Perform maintenance computer system transactions as required.
• Evaluate equipment and work areas for safety before performing maintenance actions.
• Demonstrate effective conduct with co-workers and maintain regular attendance.
