About The Position

The Aircraft Maintenance Controller is responsible for coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for a fleet of aircraft, ensuring minimal impact on aircraft availability and schedule. This role involves communication with maintenance providers, troubleshooting, and assisting the charter department and management. The position requires active participation in regulatory programs and maintenance tracking, as well as travel for inspections and quality control.

Requirements

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is required.
  • 3 or more years of prior maintenance control experience with aircraft.
  • Maintenance experience with CL601, GIV, Lear 60, and BD700 is a plus.
  • Ability to work day or night shift, including weekends and holidays as assigned.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Valid US Passport.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening, PRIA background check, credit check, DMV check with valid driver's license, and employment verification.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for aircraft.
  • Answer phones and emails while on call to coordinate maintenance events with providers.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and advising the charter department and management on schedule impacts.
  • Manage the ELT Registration program.
  • Work with the Director of Maintenance and Chief Inspector on regulatory programs.
  • Maintain a maintenance provider database including capabilities and contacts.
  • Obtain quotes for maintenance or aircraft upgrades as requested by management.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to inspect aircraft for conformity and quality control.
  • Communicate findings with management and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Develop and revise forms, checklists, and spreadsheets as required.
  • Work to improve aircraft fleet reliability and enhance safety.
  • Update the Maintenance Tracking programs with the Chief Inspector.
  • Coordinate technical publications subscriptions and revisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
