About The Position

This is job is at a Depot Level repair facility maintenance on types of aircraft, which include, but not limited to AV-8, C-130, C-2, E-2, EA-6B, F/A-18, H-1, H-53, H-60, MQ-8, P-3, P-8. F-35 and V-22. Military aviation platform experience is a plus.
Duties
Set up and operate all types of conventional machines, computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines and related equipment in the manufacture, rework, and repair of aircraft parts and components.
Set up and perform machining operations on conventional and CNC machine tools such as grinders, milling machines, lathes, and drills.
Read and understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, work documents, aircraft technical documents, manuals, bulletins, and directives; produce assigned work in accordance with established standards
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of aircraft machining experience preferred
• Must have experience on 2, 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers
• Must be able to read, understand and interpret blueprints, drawing, sketches, work documents etc.
• Experience in heavy structure U.S. Military or related FAA or civil aviation
• Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience
• Up to 25% travel may be required
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to pass a NACI which could include a credit check
