About The Position

If you are a seasoned aircraft inspection professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry, join our team! As an Aircraft Inspector IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to inspect our aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to the manufacturer's specifications and government regulations. You'll be responsible for identifying any breach of standards for airworthiness. Your inspection authority will include all in-process inspections, all final inspections, and approval for return to service of all work. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with product audit and inspection processes.
  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.
  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
  • Current/valid passport and ability to obtain a visa for international travel.
  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
  • Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1.
  • Thorough understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation.
  • Experience with first article inspections.
  • Prior experience with aircraft modifications.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
