Keeping accurate records and collaborating with airline personnel are essential aspects of this role, as is conducting routine inspections of fueling equipment. By ensuring that aircraft are properly fueled and prepared for departure, the Aircraft/GSE Fueler significantly contributes to airport safety and operational efficiency. Working as an Aircraft/GSE Fueler involves a variety of tasks that require attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. The role includes safely and efficiently conducting fueling operations, maintaining accurate records of fueling transactions, and performing daily quality control inspections on equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality. The Aircraft/GSE Fueler is also responsible for fueling various Ground Service Equipment, such as Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, and Belt Loaders. This position requires the ability to utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircraft, ensuring accurate loading and balancing of fuel, and conducting defueling procedures as necessary. The work environment for an Aircraft/GSE Fueler is dynamic and can be physically demanding. Team members are expected to exhibit consistent and dependable attendance while working outdoors, often exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather. The role may also involve additional duties as assigned, emphasizing the need for flexibility and a commitment to exceeding PrimeFlight's customer service and safety standards.
