About The Position

FSM Group, an aviation fuel management company with multiple locations in airports across the US, has an immediate need to hire an Aircraft Fueling Supervisor for its airport operation in Raleigh, NC. This position's primary duties include oversight of the Performance, Safety, and aircraft fueling personnel to reach optimal service results. Preferred candidates will have a proven airport/ aviation work history demonstrating Safety, Performance, and People Management achievements.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a federal fingerprint background check
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain airport security clearance and badge within reasonable timeframes
  • Documented prior work history
  • Proof of U.S. work eligibility
  • Capable of lifting 30 pounds overhead and 50 pounds to waist level
  • Flexibility to work overtime and meet airport certifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise team of aircraft fuelers.
  • Fuel aircraft before departure using the airport fueling equipment.
  • Communicate with flight team, airport dispatch team, and other airport/airline personnel as needed.
  • Record and report the starting and final fueling data and dispensing data per aircraft using provided handheld electronic equipment or logs.
  • Record and report flight data such as destination, flight number etc. as needed Conduct safety checks on the service equipment such as fueling carts, hydrant carts, etc. as needed Safely and responsibly handle all fueling hoses and equipment along with other airport fueling tools.
  • Coach and train fuelers on performance and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage department morale, organization, customer standards, and administrative duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
