About The Position

Join Menzies Aviation and be part of our family at Bradley International Airport. This position offers a pay rate of $19.00/hour with a shift of 40 hours, assigned after training. You will be required to perform simple mathematical functions related to weight, measurement, and volume, as part of interpreting aircraft weight and balance loading instructions for fueling. Maintaining a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies is essential. Employees will be cross-trained and may work in other areas of the operation. Previous experience is beneficial but not required, as classroom and on-the-job training will be provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Ability to pass FBI and other background checks for airport identification badge.
• Willingness to submit and pass a drug and physical abilities test.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions for fueling.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment according to health, safety, and security policies.
• Handle fueling carts and hoses, requiring lifting and moving up to 70lbs.
