About The Position

Kalitta Turbines is a certified FAA Repair Station and has been in the business of maintaining, servicing, and repairing TFE731 and CF34-3 engines since 1986. With an extensive inventory and expertise in turbine engines, Kalitta Turbines has the unique ability to provide critical parts and services to keep aircraft operational at all times. This strategic integration allows us to offer on-demand, as-needed, and scheduled turbine maintenance and support, ensuring the reliable operation of essential aircraft. Requirements

  • Aircraft Engine experience preferred.
  • Experience with CF34 and TFE-731 Engines
  • Airframe & Powerplant License Required
  • Must be available full-time and work overtime when required.
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Candidate must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check
  • Candidate must be able to understand, read and write English
  • Candidate should be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized and able to manage and be managed
  • Candidate must be reliable, punctual and flexible
  • Candidate must be able to multi-task, respect and maintain confidentiality
  • Candidate must be ethical, trustworthy with sensitive information
  • Candidate must be service oriented and able to work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment
  • Candidate must be respectful of diverse populations and cultures
  • Candidate must have an outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
  • Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting is required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, assemble engines I.A.W. Manufacturers Manuals.
  • Perform engine removals and installations on-wing.
  • Be proficient in reading OEM Manuals and precision measuring tools.
  • Perform repair processes to engine components.
