About The Position

Foxtrot Aviation Services is looking for dedicated, energetic, quality and safety focused individuals to join our ever-growing family!
Based at Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) , we are seeking a consistently hard-working technician to help remove Corrosion Inhibiting Compound (CIC) from aircraft stringers, structures, and belly underneath the floorboards. Additional CIC removal will be performed in the landing gear and behind the wings.
Job Description: Applicants are asked to have open availability including weekends.
Wash Prep and Wet Washed of exterior of aircraft. These services consist of long 10+ hour shifts.
Use of hand scrubbers to remove Corrosion Inhibiting Compound. Requires working in confined tight spaces. While wearing proper PPE , face respirators, eye wear, hazmat suits.
Lubrication of gear well and landing gear.
Floorboard Removal and Application, vacuuming. Being able to bend and flex for extended periods of time.
Seat Track cleaning
Insulation Retraction and replacing. Requires being very organized, able to focus for extended period of times.
Working with a high level of detail while standing, crouching, or lying down 8 to 10 hours per day
Medically cleared to wear an N-100 respirator and perform highly physical work in high temperatures
The candidate needs to be highly reliable
The candidate must be open to working overtime
The candidate must communicate well
The candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work due to frequent changes in the client schedule

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a 10 year background check and obtain airport badging.
• Must be able to pass a drug test (this includes the recreational use of Marijuana)
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Capable of bending, twisting, lifting and using machinery such as buffers for extended periods of time.
• Perform general manual labor.
• Fear of heights
• Open availability and flexibility with scheduling.
• Veterans must provide the form DD214 of discharge information if applicable.
