About The Position
At Integrated Deicing Services, we are dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and professional deicing and anti-icing services to our carrier customers. The primary role of the Aircraft Deicer is to ensure that aircraft are free from ice and frozen contamination, which is critical for safe operations. This position involves inspecting the aircraft for ice and applying deicing fluid, typically made of glycol, to remove any frozen contaminants. The Aircraft Deicer plays a vital role in maintaining safety and compliance with company policies and procedures during the de/anti-icing operations. In this role, you will participate in pre-planning for de/anti-ice events, which includes performing checks on equipment and ensuring that all necessary supplies, such as fuel or glycol, are available. You will also be responsible for the proper shutdown of deicing pads, including completing all required paperwork and logging maintenance issues. This position offers immediate advancement opportunities, allowing you to progress to a Single Operator Deicer and eventually to an Aircraft Lead Deicer, with corresponding pay increases based on your performance and commitment.
