About The Position

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a full-time weekend Aircraft Maintenance Crew Lead at their new MRO facility in Melbourne, Florida. The Crew Lead will be responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope, ensuring tasks are performed to established standards of quality and airworthiness. This position includes a shift differential for weekend work and reports to the Accountable Manager for Repair Station Operations under 14 CFR 145.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A & P license.
  • Active driver's license.
  • Proven ability to lead and direct aircraft technicians and mechanics.
  • Ability to organize and assign technical work and follow up on complex projects.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, technicians, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively teams with the respective Maintenance Supervisor and Quality Assurance Inspector to efficiently execute the aircraft work scope.
  • Attends customer debriefs as directed.
  • Assigns technicians to perform tasks as directed by the Crew Chief.
  • Ensures the use of applicable technical data in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance manual.
  • Ensures personnel assigned to tasks are qualified and identifies training requirements.
  • Completes aircraft maintenance paperwork in accordance with RSQCM methods.
  • Provides for shift turnover requirements as outlined in the RSQCM.
  • Collaborates with the Maintenance Supervisor to achieve on-time and on-budget objectives.
  • Collaborates with the QA Inspector to achieve aircraft approval for return to service.
  • Drives daily activities to meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Maintains good housekeeping practices using a 5S system.
  • Focuses on Human Factors in the workplace to drive zero defects in workmanship and safety.
  • Supports the Maintenance Error Analysis Process (MEAP).
  • Contributes to the annual training needs assessment for the Repair Station Training Program.
  • Supports corporate mission and vision through achievement of department goals.
  • Responsible for tool control and inventory management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • May require extended travel to offsite locations for job duties or training.
