About The Position

Segula Technologies is seeking a skilled technician to perform repairs in a FAA approved Repair Station. The role involves working with structural repair manuals, component maintenance manuals, and aircraft maintenance manuals, as well as other approved repair instructions from the manufacturer or airline customer. The technician will collaborate with others to conduct maintenance, repair, and overhauls on a variety of structural and non-structural fiberglass, acrylic, and other composite and metal parts. Responsibilities include following approved repair manuals and documents, processing specifications, adhering to quality control requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products to customers. The technician will also demonstrate technical expertise in fabricating assemblies, reworking, and repairing non-metallic parts and assemblies, applying knowledge of non-metallic materials and bonding techniques. Additionally, the role requires performing inspections, maintaining quality records, and coordinating with engineering and other disciplines to develop materials and processes for fabrication and repair.

Requirements

  • AOG experience of 5 years or more.
  • Structural Composite Repair Certification (TR009348).
  • Proficient in the use and interpretation of CAD CAM tools or similar tools.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice for long periods of time.
  • Must comply with Anti-Drug and Alcohol program requirements (FAA required random testing for safety sensitive work).
  • Employee must successfully pass initial screening to begin work in the repair station.

Nice To Haves

  • Boeing 787 Dreamliner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs in a FAA approved Repair Station.
  • Work to structural repair manuals, component maintenance manuals, and aircraft maintenance manuals.
  • Team with others to perform maintenance, repair, and overhauls on various structural and non-structural parts.
  • Verify dimensions of parts using mechanical and electronic precision measurement tools.
  • Perform first article inspection and maintain required personal certifications.
  • Initiate and document any non-conforming conditions for Material Review Board action.
  • Prepare and maintain quality records and perform process surveillance to assure compliance with requirements.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and other disciplines in the determination and development of materials, processes, specifications, and related documents.
