You will be an Aircraft Avionics Technician II. What You Will Be Doing As an Aircraft Avionics Technician II, you will be responsible for: The Levelâ¯II Avionics Technician provides advanced, independent maintenance, modification, and repair of electrical and avionics systems on the SOF GLSS rotaryâwing fleets. The duties of this title will primarily perform tasks independently and play a wide-ranging role in guidance, technical instruction, and specific skill development of less experienced employees. This candidate will possess vast and comprehensive technical expertise and specialization for the applicable scope of work. The duties will encompass complex problem solving, effective communication skills and broad knowledge within the scope of assignments. The duties will include major modifications, thorough troubleshooting, and ensuring all work complies with airworthiness standards while supporting SOFâspecific mission requirements.
