About The Position

Entry-Level or Experienced Aircraft Assembly Technician Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry or Experienced Level Aircraft Assembly Technicians to join Boeing Defense Space & Security located in Mesa, AZ. Assemble, modify and install aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, components, systems and airframe structures on aircraft systems. Identify nonconforming parts, conditions and processes. Position Responsibilities: Experience in assembly, disassembly, install, test and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies on Apache Longbow Helicopters. Follow computer based and other specific processes and systems, including manufacturing planning and blueprints, as well as other forms of both written and oral instructions. Mechanical, electrical/avionics, sheet metal or composites work on Apache Longbow Helicopters. Follow specific tool control, FOD (Foreign Object, Debris) control and safety guidelines and policies. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option. Must be able to work any shift as needed (1st or 2nd shift) This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with aircraft assembly processes.
  • Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches and written and verbal instructions, in English
  • Able to climb, stand, bend, kneel, reach, crawl, and walk on or stand on aircraft
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer specific Apache Longbow knowledge in systems such as Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Rigs, Fuel, Environmental Control Systems, Avionics, Wire Harness Installation and routing, Fairings, Brakes.
  • A&P License preferred
  • Experience working on military aircraft
